The staff of Elysian Charter School is proud of its commitment to the children and families of our community. I graduated from NYU with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and later received my Master’s Degree from NJCU in Special Education. I am a lifelong Hoboken resident and a proud mom of three sons. I enjoy reading, cooking, and spending time outdoors with my family.

Previously, I instructed students in general music at Eleanor Van Gelder Elementary School in Edgewater and in piano performance at Church Street School for Music and Art in Manhattan. With a background in classical and collaborative piano, I see my role as a music teacher to open up new worlds not only to students, but also to myself by being open to the music the students love.
